But in this post, we’ll be diving into the most expensive models of some of the ultra-luxury car brands in the world. Some of these are Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maybach, and Lagonda.
Bentley
The most expensive Bentley ever sold was the ‘Blower’ Bentley sold for $7.06 million at an auction in 2012. This is one of the highly sought-after cars while the others are Speed Six ($5.7 million), the Rapier ($4.5 million), and the Hunaudières Concept ($4 million).
Rolls-Royce
The most expensive now is the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail. This is a convertible with a manual top and costs $30 million. This was introduced during the Monterey Car Week 2023 at the Pebble Beach. this is 17.3 feet long and 6.5 feet wide powered by the same 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 as that of the Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Maybach
This brand has been synonymous with luxury and opulence. The most expensive one ever made from this brand is the Maybach Exelero – a one-of-a-kind luxury sports car. This was commissioned by the German tire company Fulda to test their high-performance tire range. This is worth $8,000,000 and was released in 2005. It has a top speed of 218 mph and maximum power of 700 hp.
Lagonda
The Aston Martin Lagonda is the world’s most expensive sedan car. The Lagonda Taraf is is a 6.0-liter naturally-aspirated V12 producing 533 hp at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. 120 of these were sold when the company decided to end the production. The car’s $1 million price tag is surely worth it given the comfort, speed, exclusivity, and luxury it holds.
